Delray Beach, Florida Aug 28, 2025 (Issuewire.com) - The International MLS [IMLS]® announced today that it has signed a multi-year data licensing agreement with Move Inc. to make available IMLS listings outside the USA to the Move portals.
According to The IMLS CEO/Founder, Dr. Daniel Nussbaum, "We are proud to say that we have entered into an agreement with Move Inc. to provide our members with listings outside the USA to be on realtor.com/international, among other sites. Now, even agents and small brokers can join The IMLS, and The IMLS will automatically feed their listings outside the USA to realtor.com/international so they can get global exposure on both portals.
The agreement provides that all IMLS members listings entered into The IMLS outside the US are now not only available on The IMLS as well as on thousands of other agent and broker sites across the country and around the world automatically, but that their listings will also be on realtor.com/international. These listings can also be delivered to the REA Group, based in Australia and also owned by Move, which includes realestate.com.au and property.com.au in Australia, as well as to HOUSING.com, PropTiger.com, and makaan.com in India.
We are always looking to expand our offerings and partnerships that make sense, and we are also looking to solve certain problems within the real estate industry. Over the last few years, we have created our RESO API, which now automates acceptance of listings and feeds from MLSs, Associations, and brokers in a widely accepted format. We also recently partnered with a technology provider who can take feeds that do not match our spec and they can convert into our spec. Additionally, for those USA brokers who belong to multiple MLSs, this new tech partner can aggregate those listings from a brokers site, deliver it to us for easy acceptance, and do so in an affordable solution.
By having the listings on www.TheIMLS.com , all IMLS members also have the option to choose to syndicate their listings to 60 portals in 40+ countries through another partnership we have, said Dr. Nussbaum.
This new partnership is expected to greatly expand IMLS memberships and listings outside the United States, and these listings will also be going on The IMLS international search page with listings in 100+ countries and in 100+ languages. Agents and brokers who have this search on their websites enable their customers to view all IMLS listings around the world in more than 100 languages, with their web visitors staying on that agents own URL and with the agent or broker getting the buyer leads to make referrals to other agents as they choose. The IMLS makes it easy for agents to network with each other anywhere in the world as well as share listings.
The IMLS global technology platform addresses the growing concerns about the direction of the real estate industry by making certain core ethical promises. The IMLS never advertises other agents on a personal members listing page. If a consumer is interested in a property, only that listing agent will receive the lead, and The IMLS does not take any For Sale By Owner USA residential listings. The IMLS initiative is about putting the real estate market back in the hands of agents and brokers.
This agreement with Move is expected to expand IMLS memberships significantly and puts us on the path to expanding further throughout the world. Our growth since 2020 has been exponential, and we expect further significant growth ahead with associations, MLSs, brokers, agents, and developers participating. Our agents and brokers are excited to have this agreement in place as our goal remains to provide global exposure and to bring the real estate world closer together by serving the best interests of all concerned, said Dr. Nussbaum.
